Match Where?...In Williams!! PDF Print E-mail

We are excited to report that the USPSA Club in Williams, AZ (the Williams Sportsman's Club) is finally getting up and running, thanks to the hard work of Mike & Karla Phillips and others. They're looking to stir up some excitement in their local area by holding their first match on Sunday, August 29, 2010. Volunteers and props from the Prescott, Kingman and Lake Havasu City clubs will be there to help make the match successful and a good time for all.

Let's show our support by filling up this match right out of the gate - 80 slots available. It will be 6 stages, about 150 rounds and does require re-registration. So go to their website to get directions and download the registration form.

It's only 3 weeks away! So, do it now at...Williams Sportsman's Club

Immigration Poll on msnbc.com PDF Print E-mail

Logo.MSNBCDo you support Arizona's tough new law on illegal immigration?

I'll bet this member of the lamestream didn't expect this...

It's currently running about 95% in favor, 5% against. I wonder if they will put aside their political adgenda and report on this poll outcome. Or maybe it will just be taken down without any mention of it.

Be sure to take the poll yourself by clicking here.

Notables & Quotables...

Henry Toribio gets edged out (by 1%) by daughter Charyne for the second year in a row. We are all proud to watch her shoot so well.

Tag Bender was gunning for top Limited shooters Keith Sirevaag and Henry Toribio...but, NO...Tag gets aced out by new Havasu sensation Sean VanHorn. Sorry Tag, no brass this year.

No Single Stack shooters this year. Terry Sullivan (last year's SS winner) wimped out. But we did have three Limited 10 shooters brave the match, of which, Yuma's Andrew Gross got top honors.

It was great to see Brian Lamb coming to shoot his first match ever and Lou Boozell after a long hiatus.

And can you believe Don Rasmussen (Super Putz of nearly 75 years) running and gunning with the best of them. I think he was part of an experiment receiving preservative injections, when he worked for the government.
